Terrible experience using the trackpad on Mac Air to compose in Microsoft Word. Text was lost, pasted onto existing text, file reverted to early version. I had transferred the document via flash drive from my Mac Mini running Ventura to my Mac Air running Sonoma. Anyone else have similar problems?

Nope. Maybe you should be a bit more careful with the trackpad... or get a mouse if it's a problem for you.
I do use a mouse, but not always and I wasn't at the time. It is possible that my fingers strayed to the wrong area of trackpad. Do you think that might have caused the problem?
