I recently enabled Contacts in my iCloud account as the only account for my contacts. As a result, the contacts on my Macs automatically synced with my iCloud account. No problem. However, the contacts on my iPhone 13 would not sync even after I enabled only my iCloud account on the phone. I also rebooted the phone to no avail. Any help that you might provide would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

I might add the following: When I go to icloud.com on my Mac, I can access my Contacts there. However, if I go to icloud.com on my iPhone, my Contacts are not listed there. Hopefully this might offer a clue to get some advice on the syncing issue. Thank you.
Sorry for creating so much confusion. But I am trying to isolate the issue. Here is the bottom line: If I add a new contact to my iPhone, Mac or directly in my iCloud.com account, everything syncs properly. The problem is getting existing contacts in my iCloud account to sync to my iPhone (as mentioned previously, existing contacts on iCloud will sync to my Mac.
Hopefully someone can sort this out for me. Thank you (especially for your patience).
