How to connect modern Mac or HDMI source to Apple thunderbolt 1 display 10Gb/s model

I have the thunderbolt 27" display and I would like to be able to use it with macbook M1 and also maybe a playstation 4 through HDMI, there are lots of options for Thunderbolt adapters but they all start at thunderbolt 2 but my monitor is the 10GB/s thunderbolt 1 display.

I also cant seem to find out if the thunderbolt port on the back of the monitor is a display input or output, or something else entirely, all I can remember is Steve Jobs saying that it could be used to daisy chain multiple displays. It would be great if I could use this as an input methods too if possible. Sorry, i find this monitor so confusing.

Thanks
