Yesterday my Apple Pencil 1st generation suddenly shut off. I checked to see if the battery was dead and it was a 30% so I charge it. After it charged to 100% I started taking notes and it worked for 1 minute then shut off. I’ve restarted my iPad and have forgot Apple Pencil in settings and it still does not work. I don’t know what to do i use my Pencil for school and need i need it. Any help is appreciated.

How long have you had this Apple Pencil. Over time the rechargeable battery in it will "wear out." This may be the case here.
