Apple Wallet Credit Card Authorization, FaceID and password

I would like to be able to force Apple Wallet to use Face ID only. My reason for this request is not convenience but security. There are several reasons that I don't consider my Apple ID password to be very secure. If my phone is turned off, I need to turn it ON by entering my Apple ID password. The teller and anyone behind me could see me enter my ID; or there instances where I share my Apple ID password for trusted others to access my phone contacts, WiFi info etc.

Anyone with my Apple ID password can make charge to my credit card using Apple Wallet.

I would have thought that Apple would have identified this as a huge risk of theft.

I don't trust my Apple ID password to protect me from unauthorized use of my credit cards.

I'd like to be allowed to restrict my Wallet credit cards to be authorized by Face ID ONLY, or even better require password to open Wallet, and FaceID to make charges.
