I'm running the latest FCP with latest OS on an Intel Mac Pro
The issue.
I applied a magnetic mask on a video of a headshot. I then applied a moving background behind that layer.
The problem.
The headshot seems to be about 50% transparent as I see the background blending in.
I've duplicated a copy of the headshot with the mask and placed it on top of the original one. That removed the transparency.
Is this a bug?

Thank you. It’s very strange. Transparency is certain areas. When I look at the image separately in Safari I see it, but much less when I look at it in the forum. I’m guessing it’s more pronounced in FCP.

Could you post screenshots? Sounds interesting.
AS usual there are always anomalies in the first release of an FCP upgrade. Then there are a couple of releases of catchup.
You're welcome. I tried everything to see if any settings might be triggering it, but nothing ties into the issue. Yes I could have taken a larger screenshot, but it's definitely there.
