iPad Pro m4 massive Batterie drain while taking notes with pencil

my iPad Pro 13“ m4 is just 1 day old.

I was today taking today the First time notes with the Pencil pro of a lecture.

it was charged 80%. The lecture started at 8:30 Till 10:00 the battery went from 80-30% in 90 minutes.

I just had a call with apple. The remote diagnoze Said all fine.

But the guy told me it shouldn’t be a normal behaviour.

I was now talking to others from who I know they are also taking pencil notes often - same issue.

what is limiting the drain is turning display brightness low.

mine was today at ~75%

my best guess is also it is strong related to the pencil …
