Apple Music (itunes) Songs Not Playing From External Hard Drive

I recently transferred my Music files from an older external hard drive to a new one.

I changed the Music Media Folder to recognize the new location.

When I select "File" in "Get Info" on each song, the location of each song is in the correct place. i.e. Apple Music recognizes the song files on the new hard hard.

However, when I attempt to play a song, it will only play the first 1-2 seconds and then go silent. The grey timer bar continues to advance but there is no output.

If I attempt to play another song, there is no output at all.

Once I reboot Apple Music, it will again only play the first 1-2 seconds of the first song that I select.

Any advice would be well appreciated.
