How do I make PDF viewing in Finder a continuous scroll?

Hi there,

How do I make PDF viewing in Finder a continuous scroll?

You can achieve continuous scroll, for instance, in Preview, if you pressed ⌘-1. However in Finder, when looking through a PDF file, it is set to single page, which is most annoying, because 1) the page doesn't fit whole vertically, and 2) when at the bottom or top of the page, it flips to the next to previous page, respectively, all of a sudden, and this is most annoying.

So, how does one set PDF preview in Finder to continuous scroll?

(Pressing ⌘-1 doesn't do it in Finder, only in Preview.)

TIA!

Yes, thank you, I get that.

I'm just surprised that the default scrolling mode of PDF files in Finder in Gallery mode (⌘4) is Single Page, as opposed to Continuous Scroll.

It's such a small thing to get right, it kind of makes sense, yet it's not set. Like Steve would never have allowed this to happen.

Single Page is good for apps and monitors where the whole page is fully visible and readable, i.e. no zoom, but if you want to peruse a PDF document quickly, especially in a smaller window, where you want to zoom into the page, Continuous Page is the only way.

Surprised Apple missed this one.

But yes, pressing the Space Bar does open it in another window and there it is set to Continuous Scroll.
