I am plagued by requests to set up Apple Pay. (There is no conceivable way I would want such a thing on my iPhone.) One person answered on an old thread to choose to set Apple Pay up and then select cancel. I do not see anyway to "cancel" setting up Apple Pay.

A recent update contained bug fixes and security updates. Let’s see how it is after a week or two.
(Sequoia 15.1.1) Never a credit card, and I have never heard of Apple Cash before now. I see Wallet & Apple Pay in the Mac Setting Menu. Never touched it before. I see where I would probably go to enter a CC number, but nothing about Apple Pay/Cash except on where a CC would be added. On my iPhone, I do see a Wallet & Apple Pay setting there. Never looked at it, no interest in more ways to the Poor House.) Inside Apple Cash an on/off button, it is off. Never been on. I see other buttons, some are on, but I don't imagine that they do anything with the first off.
I have not seen the setup request for awhile. Maybe the iOS update fixed it? Maybe it was the poking around I did?
Did you previously have any credit or debit cards in your Apple Wallet? Do you have Apple Cash enabled in your Settings app?
