keyboard output issue in different text fields

Since updating to sequoia 15.1.1, I have been having intermittent issues with keyboard input. So far I have only noticed it in safari and the mail app. In safari, I will open a new tab and be unable to type in the search bar. I go back to other tabs and typing does not work for any tabs in safari. I open other apps like iMessage, and am able to type perfectly fine, so it not an issue with the keyboard. Sometimes the typing will be working fine and in the middle of typing, it will randomly stop. Restarting safari or trying to open new tabs have not fixed the problem, but opening and closing other apps like google chrome occasionally gets it working again. Most recently, I was typing a subject line in a new email in the mail app, and suddenly was not able to type any more. I can still type in the body of the email, and I can use the search function within the mail app, but am not able to make any changes with my keyboard in the subject line. Incredibly frustrating and no consistent method to fix the issue when it occurs.
