Hello.
i havent really found clear answers for this yet and pulling my hair out.
I own an IPhone 15 . I want to use line in audio from an external
source whilst recording video on the iPhone. I have a
3.5mm headphone to usb c adapter however it is
not picking up line in just the mic sound.
You need to figure out if you need TR, TRS, or TRRS. T = Tip, R = Ring and S = Sleeve. All the adapters and cables need to match so that audio is not blocked by a wrong cable or adapter.
