Use WhatsApp on iPhone SE (2016) - stuck on the first screen, no button or link to press to accept

I got stuck on the first screen where it asks me to accept the terms but I cannot see anywhere that I can do this

I have the same issue and when I contacted meta they said they don’t provide support for device issues so no help at all. I also contacted apple as I actually paid for the app (many years ago) through the app store but they just sent generic fixes for apps not working. They said contact the app developer. So have hit brick wall. I did delete the app and reinstall it but I got stuck on the first screen where it asks me to accept the terms but I cannot see anywhere that I can do this. There is no button or link to press to accept. I am hoping meta are aware this is happening and will fix it especially as I paid for the app (only 69p but most people get it for free now.

I found a solution to this issue!

You can adjust the zoom level specifically for WhatsApp via the Action Center:

1. Open Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size (or a similar section, depending on your iOS version).
2. Use the Action Center option to adjust the zoom for individual apps.
3. Select WhatsApp and set the zoom to the smallest level.
4. Relaunch WhatsApp, and you should now see the missing button to complete the process.
5. Afterward, you can reset WhatsApp's zoom back to your preferred setting if needed.
