My second line/e-sim not recognizing my contacts

I recently added a second phone line to my iPhone. My primary line is in the US, through xfinity mobile, but I needed a Spanish phone number so I added a second e-sim and line through Orange. I have an iPhone 16 with updated software, and my contacts are in iCloud.


When using my Orange/second line in Spain, my iPhone doesn't recognize my contacts or their phone numbers. For example: when I tried to forward a photo to my daughter, and typed her name, the only thing popping up was "Siri found this in contacts" and it was her email address, not her number or name. And when originating a text to a friend, his name wasn't recognized and I had to manually type in his full phone number in order to text him. This happened repeatedly. When others texted me, only their phonenumber came through, not their names.And when I returned to the US I experimented using the second line and the same thing happened.


I have all contacts in iCloud, and have sync checked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
