How can I stop the 'Updates Available' notification on my MacBook Pro?

How can I disable the 'Updates Available' notification that is now appearing from system preferences since Sequoia? This was removed after High Sierra and it's pretty disappointing to have to ignore this daily now. Even more frustrating is that it comes back if I just drag it off the screen??

Hello, I agree with you, totally. I'm super MAD. Notifications was not the deal when I bought this computer. This was the reason I left Windows. They are windowmising Macos. I use my laptot to work, I don't want to be DISTURBED. If someone still understand the meaning of "working". Or maybe Apple is becoming an entertainment company. Maybe the next laptot will feature a 16*9 screen, lol. Apple support is gonna hear me loud monday.

The numbers of updtates are written in the drop down menu on the top right, that is enough. I update when I schedule my time to do it. Now i seriously regret "upgrading" to sequoia.
