iPhone 16 pro max touch screen delays and no response

Purchased an IPhone 16 pro max. Put an otter box defender case on it with zagg xtr4 screen protector. I had a few issues transferring the data from my 13 to this one. But the biggest issue is the touch screen isn’t responsive. When I scroll and touch it keep scrolling. I have also noticed when texting i have to touch the key several times to get it to take the letter. Oddly this isn’t constant. Sometimes it responds normally and other times it’s really bad.

Is this an iphone issue over all or do i have a defective device? Is it the zagg glass? I’ve used zagg for my other models and never had this issue.

How to Protect your Phone:

A. Screen Protector to Use:

Liquid Coating: Is this covered under AppleCare? If so, don't use any liquid coating, whatsoever, as this whould cancel and coverage, whatsoever. However, if not covered under AppleCare, then what to use is Liquid Armor or Liquid Nano. Local retailers apply this, and these companies may had. few videos of her to adhere it on their site.

B. Which Case to Use:

I'm an OtterBox user, myself. So, rather than a new screen, consider using one of those. I've dropped my iPhone oh so many times, and yes these item have prevented all damages, in all the years I've used these. Put the cover on the back, and you’re less likely to damage the camera.
