My iPhone got missing and is off can I find it anyway

If may be possible to still find an iPhone when it is off if:
What is the message that you see when you try to locate the phone using Find My?
"No Device Found"?
"Offline"?
Something else?
If the message is "Offline".....it might be possible to locate the phone....even if it has been powered off.....IF.....the battery has not run down and there are other iPhones in very close proximity to your phone.
You may not be able to use any Apple features and may have to just re-trace your steps to find it. But check this Apple Support page, just in case.
