Hows usage with dedicated Epson apps for editing / cd print?

No. That is not what it means.
Do not buy that printer. It won't work. Find another printer on that list. There are thousands, including hundreds of Epson printers.

The printer/scanner on my desk has both a USB port (in use) and Wi-Fi (unused). There are drivers that work on my old, half-dead Mac (which ran Sierra), but not on this one (which is running Ventura). So AirPrint & VueScan are what are keeping this printer/scanner alive.

I wanted printer with print on cd, and it has special pallet for that, and not quite expensive.
