Why are my song titles hidden in iTunes after latest update?

Since updating my iPhone to 18 all song titles are hidden in iTunes on my iPhone for ALL tracks until you actually start playing a track (see image where I started playing track 3 and the title is now visible at the bottom). Is there some setting I have in iTunes that didn't make this an issue with previous updates but has with this one? I've tried various things with "Work & Movement" with no joy. Surely it can't just be me? All the music is my own - downloaded from Bandcamp and digital codes or ripped from my own CDs - no Apple Music. Very annoying and bizarre, has anyone else had this?
