What is the Playlist Limit on Apple Music Public Profiles?

So I have multiple playlists and I like to make them all public on my profile. I woke up today and saw that many of my playlists at the bottom of my public profile were gone. I played around with it and it seems like there is a set limit of how many playlists I can make public. Are you serious? Is this a glitch? If it is not I am seriously unhappy with that restriction and it needs to be updated. It most likely is a glitch because I used to have every single playlist public. Please help!

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. It’s so upsetting that I’m considering switching to Spotify permanently. I had over 100 public playlists and Apple limited that to 50 at a time.

I’m sorry to hear about this high profile technical issue that you are having with your Apple Music profile public playlist I highly recommend you number one to contact Apple support and tell them you wanna create a case you’re going to have to have some patience, but however, you definitely will be able to resolve this issue. There’s a lot of other Apple Music subscription users that is having this issue. You have no idea because I don’t believe this myself. I really feel your frustration and The way you feel about this technical problem because I feel the same way i’m about to tell you a temporary workaround until you resolve this case with Apple support number one when you create 50 playlist in your public playlist which is equivalent to exactly 9 pages of playlist however, once you create more than 50 like 60 or 65 public playlist The moment you click on account and then click on your name and then click on more and then click on edit and then you rearrange and move just one or better yet try moving to playlist and then when you click the done button, which is actually the save button any playlist after 50 playlist will automatically be private so I recommend not to edit anything just place your playlist in the order you want one by one and technically you only have one chance to get this right so I recommend you to keep looking over all of your private playlist from top to bottom until you figure out all the ones you want to make public playlist but you definitely don’t want to try to edit anything because once you click the done button and you have rearranged a playlist it’s going to default your public playlist back to 50 playlist immediately. but on another note, You can actually create a playlist and before you created, you want to toggle off where it says search or show on public profile and hit create or done on the playlist and it will be private instead of public. so what I’m trying to tell you right here is you can still create more multiple playlist and immediately make them private without them even going to public due to the situation and the circumstances on your case this is what you temporarily want to do moving forward That’s what I recommend you to do until you resolve your case with Apple support remember do not I repeat do not go back in your Apple Music profile, public playlist and edit and rearrange any playlist at all because once you do and hit the done button, your public playlist will shrink back down to 50 public playlist. hang in there and try not to give up on Apple Music. Happy new year.
