Problems With iTunes After Moving To New PC

I recently purchased a new PC running Windows 11 Pro. I copied my files from my old laptop to my new PC, moved the iTunes library to an external 20TB drive (not anywhere near that much music in my collection) and installed iTunes from the Windows store. After going into preferences and telling iTunes where the library is located (D:\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media) it seems to have some problems:

1)Some of the albums that I ripped from CDs a long time ago (I still have the CDs, by the way) are no longer showing the artwork but others are. In some cases the incorrect artwork is being displayed.

2) The albums that no longer have artwork are also not able to be played by iTunes. Windows Media Player is able to play the tracks and it displays the correct artwork.

3) Every album and track, regardless of whether it was purchased through iTunes or imported from CD is showing the little download cloud icon even though all of the tracks are present on my PC.

Did I miss a step somewhere when I told iTunes where to find my library?

Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided.
