Is anyone else having issues with Mail notifications on iOS 18.2? I'm only getting notification badges—no banners or notifications on the lock screen. I've double-checked my settings and even disabled notification categories, but still no luck. Screenshots of my settings are included. Any ideas?

Go to settings-notifications-mail-customize notifications and change under badge count to all unread messages. After this, you should get the notification badge.
After today updating my iPhone (XS Max) and iPad (11 pro M1) to iOS 18.4 on both, I can confirm that my notifications have returned to normal and appear to be functioning like they should do. Notifications also working normally on my 5th gen watch.
One thing I did have to do after the update was to go into settings>mobile data>show all and turn everything I wanted back on as all had been turned off.
Im now getting correct notifications across all devices on WiFi and mobile data.

Hello, awhile ago I submitted questions about my iPad, 7th generation because after update 18, I was no longer receiving any of the notifications for Mail
and especially for me, the sounds.
well, I am not sure of any literal connection to my problem, but, and am keeping my fingers crossed, with the update 18.4 voila! I am receiving all of the notifications for Mail.
however, I think I mentioned this earlier, after update 18, I was also not receiving notifications for Text messages and again, especially no sound notification assigned to text notifications. That issue was not resolved by/from update 18. Will keep fingers crossed for more updates.
18,4 was my introduction to the new forms, if you will, with respect to mail ( categories, etc.) for me there no issue

i found that if you disable a vpn service running, all emails download immediately. i tried everything else since the upgrade to 18.2
Do they wake the phone on the lock screen to notify you? do you get alerts and or haptics?
if it’s not too late (you already have 18.2), turn off automatic updates for software update and monitor this site for reports on the stability of 18.3 before updating
