Music will not stop playing after app is closed

I have noticed a problem recently after the new IOS 18 update that if my music is playing and I close the app the music does not stop playing. It will continue to play over apps like TikTok and YouTube and if you open the music app back up it shows the song as paused. If you click play it starts to play two songs at the same time. Anyone else having this issue?
