New phone iPhone 16. My iTunes seems to have lost all of my purchases and all of my playlists etc have disappeared!
Fily sharing is on and I am the main account holder. Looked in the other family members account and they have loads of stuff on there, 250 songs. I have 23!

Have you tried going to Apple Music and re-downloading the missing songs? I have lost some before when I get a new device. As long as I am still signed in to my iCloud account, I've been able to click on a missing song, and instead of asking me if I want to purchase, it says "Already purchased". From there I simply redownload it. Time consuming, but it has worked.
Another option, connect your phone into another device that has the music on the same account and try syncing.
When I set up the new phones, both iPhone 16s, it asked me if I wanted to sign in with the Apple ID so I would use one sign in for everything. Could that be the problem? That its using a different id and password?
im so annoyed that 15 years of music purchases have gone just like that!
Sadly that didn’t work. It’s as if I’ve never had an iTunes account - other than 20 that come over!
The connecting to another device and syncing didn't work either? That should if you are both signed in to the same account.
