iPad Music Library Titles with Empty Content

My ipad shows all the titles from my music library only, the content though is empty does anyone have any tips? Bear in mind I’m not very technical so maybe I’ve not done something I should do. I moved the library on to my new MacBook Air when it was new 2 years ago, haven’t been able to sort it out.
