IOS devices not recognized by iTunes or Apple Devices in Windows

iTunes and or Apple Devices do not "see" my IOS devices

but the haptics are triggered when connected and the battery shows as charging i.e. the cable is working

AMDS not displayed under any USB heading in device manager

have tried multiple USB ports, multiple USB cables, and multiple USB devices

USB C not recognized for any device and port

USB to lighting sees my old iPhone SE 2nd gen (riddle me that Batman)

Uninstalled Apple Devices and iTunes and reinstalled iTunes but AMDS doesn't install

Other community feedback presumes the AMDS driver is present in device manager which it is not in my circumstance so update is not and option

Cannot add AMDS drivers as Apple doesn't provide them separately

Please advise and thank you in advance.

iPhone 15, iOS 17
