My Mac is stuck in an older version and I can’t access the app store or safari and my internet is working perfectly fine. I also can’t even create an iCloud account.

Yes, PLEASE identify you iMac for us. They ave been in continuous production since 1998 in five broad families and hundreds of variants, and older models cannot run the latest macOS version.
