Magic Mouse Cursor Freezes with MacBook Pro M2 14" 2023

Both my iMac 24 M3 and MacBook 14 M2 are pretty new (2023). I have no problem using the Magic Mouse on my iMac but lately, I have had encountered freezing problem on my MacBook. While using the Magic Mouse on the MacBook, the cursor (pointer) would suddenly freeze (stop) and might take a few seconds to unfreeze and the cursor would then move to where it’s supposed to move. Trust me my MacBook has plenty of memories. Any suggestion for me to resolve the problem is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
