Canon G3270 slow to print after print command

This Cannon G3270 was kind of a bargain! Sadly, the set up screen is so small, a magnifying glass is needed to attempt to identify going from one setting or adjustment or anything involving the screen. This statement indirectly relates to the issue of "slow to print". As it turns out there is a auto turn off of this model that is the default setting. After attempting many things, I wound up grabbing a magnify glass and turning off auto turn off after, I think, that truns off the printer after 271 Minutes! And the slow printing problem is fixed for this Canon Model after assuring the printers is not in Auto Turnoff mode. With the setting for auto turn off, even if the printer was on and not turned off, it appeared once a print command was executed, the printer was really asleep with power light and it took time for the printer to wake! Anyway, turning off the auto off solved the problem for this model. It is on a Mac with Big Sur!
