How to take buds out of case

I have a very difficult time taking the buds out of the case. They are too slippery to just pull out. Any tips besides with your nail or adding a strip of Velcro or similar?

Beats Fit Pro case connects but buds do not Brand new from Apple Store. Beats Fit Pro buds. Case connects to iPhone, but when I lift buds out they disconnect. I have already tried: forget device, BFP factory reset, charging everything overnight, checking iPhone software update. My old BFP buds had zero problems and were excellent but after literally hundreds of miles and thousands of hours of listening, I decided to replace with a new pair. I did not have this connectivity issue with the first pair.

Suggestion - Auto off feature for Beats Flex when the buds are together (magnet) Dear Apple - I love wireless ear buds of all kinds, but find I use my Beats Flex the most becasue they hang around my neck and don;t require a case to carry them around. They are held together by a magnet within the buds - it makes them so awesome to be able to have them with me all day long and use them when I need to - BUT why not make the automatically turn off when the tips are magnetized together when hagning around your neck and not in use to save battery? This seems like a very simple feature to add?
