Removing non-existing AirPods devices from Bluetooth list

I sold my AirPods Max and had done a reset before selling it. However - after selling it - the device name reappears on my devices' Bluetooth and Find Mine.

How do I completely remove it? Manually removing it from both Bluetooth and Find Mine - it will re-appear after a short duration.

Now I have 4 AirPods devices that are "ghosting" on my Bluetooth and Find mine.

1 is for the AirPods Max that was sold.

1 is for my wife's AirPods Pro that somehow got added.

2 are for my existing AirPods Pro which I've reset and removed but still shows up.
