Missing hearing aid option on AirPods Pro A3048

Why can’t I find the hearing aid option on my new AirPods Pro’s?

After lengthy searching, it would appear these are considered legitimate “Pro 2’s” which is the apparent needed designation for the “hearing aid” upgrade but it’s nowhere to be found in settings. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
