Unable to fix issues with iPad Mini (5th Generation)

The issues I noticed in the iPad are a lot. Mind you I have tried ALL AND I MEAN ALL possible solutions ,including reset , update iOS and DFU mode . All still to no avail.

So I’ll just list all the problems I noticed it’s having

  1. i can’t delete apps from, Home Screen (when I tap on it i see the option to remove app ,once I press it ,no change or response at all)
  2. most downloaded apps have no permissions assigned to them so I can’t even sign in to begin with .
  3. On some apps I was able to sign in because of my Apple ID back up (Snapchat, instagram; but I can’t make calls ,can’t use microphone, can’t upload any media content )
  4. Most downloaded apps when it gets to the point where they ask you to “continue”. When I tap it ,nothing happens. In some cases (telegram,ChatGPT,the screen freezes and I have to close it in order for it to unfreeze )
  5. I can’t download anything from any of these apps ,can’t Downlad videos from TikTok or instagram.
  6. however all the web apps work fine on the browser like safari and chrome ,but the mobile apps don’t work.
  7. I can’t share my playlist to any social media from Spotify (as soon as I click on the logo to share it. It rolls and rolls endlessly and nothing happens).

this has cause me great distress for the last couple months .

please if you have anything that would help ,I’d really appreciate it . Thank you .

its an iPad mini 5

If the problems still exist after restoring the iPad to factory settings, not using a backup but starting fresh, then I have to suspect a hardware issue of some sort. Take your iPad to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service center for evaluation.

Notwithstanding your comments as to steps you might already have attempted - in case anything may have been missed...

Begin with a forced-restart of your iPad - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If the problem persists after performing the restart, it may be necessary to reset your iPad settings. While this reset will not cause any loss of data, as a precaution, it is always wise to ensure that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup before performing the reset:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

When you are happy to proceed, you can perform the reset from iPad settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings

If the problem still doesn’t clear, the next step is to reset the iPad to factory settings:

Otherwise, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad - and you can explore your available options:

Sighhhhhhh🫠🫠🫠🫠………this is a unique problem right ? Cause I searched all over the internet and nothing quite like this . So I noticed something now .I restarted it ,and when I opened my Snapchat ,it asked for my camera permission,so now camera works for Snapchat alone .

what does this mean

when I reset it (cause I’ve reset it a billion times now )some permissions are added to some apps but not all of them.

at one point apps weren’t downloading at all. After DFU mode they started downloading again ,but still the same issues before persist.

I’m just sad .like real sad
