Experience with Asus Zenscreen MS27UC?

I'm looking for an inexpensive monitor to use with my Macbook Air M2 13" at home, and ran across the MS27UC when looking for "Thunderbolt Monitors." Being an Asus, I'm kind of intrigued since my Windows machine is also an Asus, albeit one without Thunderbolt or DisplayPort output. Nonetheless, if all else fails, I can use HDMI for that. But, has anyone used this monitor?

It appears as if Asus was trying to appeal to Mac users with the design of this thing, but my biggest interest is simply plug-and-play desktop docking. If it actually works, it looks like a somewhat promising solution. Keep in mind, most of my activities revolve around productivity and not graphic, video, or audio work, so image quality is NOT a major factor and doesn't warrant a Studio Display at three times the price.

Oh absolutely, I'm already starting to lose faith in Asus. It seem they've gone a bit downhill in their midrange products lately, and their customer service is next to useless. It's a relatively new product (I think October 2024) so there is a good chance we won't get this combination in the wild unless it's me.

One thing that especially concerns me is their USB-C interface, which is precisely what I'm looking for - one step docking with Power Delivery and USB-A hubs. I'm concerned that this particular setup, which doesn't seem to have an industry standard behind it, isn't as reliable or straightforward as it should be. But I have seen some reviews regarding their portable USB-C monitors working well with MacBooks... even one with the 8GB version of my M2 13" model. The USB-A hub might be a different story though. You're starting to get a lot of data going through that cable which makes no mention of Thunderbolt at all.

If by chance I happen to pull the trigger, I'll be sure to follow up.
