Switching from Apple Music student to family from Android

I have a student account, but my sister invited me to a family account. When I try to accept the invitation it says "You are already a part of [my name]'s family. You cannot join another family" but my subscription literally says student because it is student and not a family. I can't go to my phone settings and find anything about sharing with a family because I'm not using an iphone, I'm using an android phone. How can I accept my sister's invite?
