iTunes Music not syncing from iPhone to MacBook

I have purchased iTunes Music on my iPhone. The music is downloaded on my iPhone. When I sync my iPhone to my MacBook, it is not putting the music onto my MacBook. All settings are correct to authorize them to sync back and forth and both the iPhone and MacBook are up to date on software. Further both iCloud accounts are correct as well. I have done restarts of both devices. I can not find anything that got deselected or out of place to not authorize the music to move from my iPhone to my MacBook. Thoughts?
