AirPods won't connect even after charging

"AirPod problems need help: So my right AirPod says that it’s charging in the case and when it pops up on the screen it shows charging and it’ll show that it’s out of the case but it won’t connect to my phone? I’ve tried hard resetting it but it hasn’t worked…"
