Deleting Photos from iCloud Library but Keeping Maps Album

Hi,

My icloud is full.

I am doing a cleanup action and I usually do this via the browser on a windows pc and download them.

When I do this I see that also the foto's which I sorted in the maps are also removed.

How can I delete foto's from the main library but keep the ones which are in a seperater specific album ?

If you delete a photo, it deletes everywhere. If you wish photos to display on a map, the photo must be in the library and have location data.

I made a map -> Kids.

I added some foto's to the map kids which are also still in the main library as the fotos in the map kids are just a link.

I wish to keep the foto's in de map Kids, so in a way these cannot be removed once added to a map.
