AirPods 4 ANC: Low Volume and Audio Cutting Out on LG OLED TV

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation and connected them via Bluetooth to my LG OLED 42C3 PUA 4K Smart TV. However, I’ve run into a couple of issues:

1. The TV’s volume must be turned up to 60+ to hear anything at an acceptable level (previously, my non-ANC AirPods 4 worked fine at much lower volumes).
2. There’s intermittent audio cutting out during playback.

These problems only occur with the TV. The AirPods work perfectly with my iPhone at normal volume levels.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

• Apple Store diagnostics confirmed the AirPods are working correctly.
• Both the AirPods and TV firmware are up-to-date.
• Resetting and re-pairing the AirPods.
• Adjusting ANC/Transparency settings.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with ANC-enabled AirPods on non-Apple devices like TVs? Are there settings I might have overlooked?
