Why is Apple Music not supported on Alexa in Slovakia?

Hi everybody,

I would like to ask for support on "Apple music on Alexa" especially considering so-far "unsupported" countries by Apple. My case: Slovakia (European Union joined market).

I recently bought Amazon Echo which international version is fully supported in Slovakia, all set-up properly, but whatever I tried to link Alexa skill with Apple music, all is failing by "AM on Alexa is not supported in your country". This is becoming pretty strange, I am subscriber of Apple music on family plan for ages, however if Apple is not going to extend the support to other EU-based countries (for example, surrounding countries like Austria and/or Poland are supported by Apple Music on Alexa), I would need to terminate my subscription and simply subscribe to the alternatives (either Amazon Music or Spotify). Howver, this is something I would consider as last option being very satisfied with Apple music, its content and performance. But for sure I am not going to pay double subscriptions for music services...

Is there a way how to solve this shortly? If the same is working on majority of EU markets, there shouldn´t be a big deal to make it happen on the remaining once. And it´s not case of language mutation because Slovak language is not supported neither on Alexa nor Siri...

Seems Apple Music for Alexa is unavailable in many more countries than Slovakia.

Apologies if I did not explain earller. We are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community. No-one here can speak for Apple. Apple is not here, and is unlikely to see your request. Some of us volunteer our time and effort to assist each other.

No-one here really knows why Apple does or does not do any action, and Apple does not explain itself. Apple does publish announcements from time to time, made available for anyone.

Each country has its own regulations on what is internationally acceptable.

With all the respect, you did not reply to what I asked. Information where "Apple Music with Alexa" is available is easily trace-able. However, considering the EU free trade environment, I am asking WHY (reasons) this part of Apple Music service is not available in countries like Slovakia, Czech republic, Hungary for example, but is available in Poland, Austria, etc.

Moreover, the cost for Apple music is same on these markets however I am not able to use all the services due to unclear reasons.

Please state the reasons why this service is not available and whether any action is ongoing to make it happen.
