Apple sign in loop on windows 10 pc after changing passcode on iphone

I changed my Apple password on my iphone 13. 18.1 software

I open my windows 10 pc -the pc is now stuck in a loop asking me to continue to sign in to Icloud .

I enter my new password- I then receive a text to type in for authentication -once entered-it then immediately loops back to enter password- then it immediately sends another text to enter for authentication

I've turned off PC and restarted multiple time without any success.

Never had this problem when previously changing password
