It has taken me over an hour to replace 2032 battery in my AirTag simply because there is no slit for screwdriver to open the cover and remove old battery. Why can’t Apple make it easier by having a slit to unscrew the cover please !

Hold the AirTag with the white plastic side facing down (Apple logo up).
Press down firmly on the stainless steel back and turn it counterclockwise until it stops turning.
Lift off the stainless steel cover to expose the battery compartment. Gently take out the old battery

there are tons of youtube videos showing how to do it easy
if you wish to complain to apple then you can use their feedback channels
The problem is that skin slips on cover and simple slit for screw driver will avoid such issues
I have know what needs doing and the problem is skin slips on surface thus unscrewing is difficult
