Apple trade in issues / bugs

It is not allowing me to complete the trade in.


1) Telephone number (area number) weird inputs. Somehow fixed it based on community guidelines which is not convincing at all

2) I have put the the details of my address it says use recommended address which is same as what I input


Unbelievable from a company like APPLE. Who manages the team of developers / Tier 1 helpdesk ?? No one has given a solution given the fact it is a recurring problem with so many customers complaining.

Truly disappointing!

You may need to check that your shipping address matches the address listed with the payment method-provider.

As brbo has pointed out, we are all other end users here, not Apple. Apple will not see your issue here, and we cannot process complaints.


The best help we can offer is have you contact Apple support directly. In spite of a somewhat misleading forum name (Apple Support Communities), Apple are not here except for a small moderation staff who seldom respond in the forums.


Apple uses "partner" firms to manage Trade-in. If you feel you encountered a systemic issue, I recommend you pen a cogent business letter and snail-mail it to Apple HQ.



Letters get traction; emails and phone calls get misdirected. I managed the support/complaint processes for a major player in a different sector for a decade, so I have some hands-on knowledge of how to get customer feedback to people who need to see it.


Apple no longer has an electronic means for reporting issues with sales, service, or support, only product feedback. The product feedback section has no category for the type of problem you have encountered.
