Got new iPhone 16 and cannot access Apple fitness on my home TV.

I do not have an Apple Watch, but have Apple TV and subscribed to Apple fitness plus for a year-long membership, screen sharing the workouts on my living room TV screen. My husband gave me a new iPhone 16 for Christmas and now I can only access Apple fitness on my phone. I cannot even mirror the phone to the living room TV screen. Any suggestions?
