Can I access Photos synced to iCloud on new iPhone setuped with the Apple Account

I’m switching from my old iPhone to a new one. I set up the new iPhone manually (e.g., downloading apps, signing into my Apple ID) because I didn’t want everything from my old iPhone transferred. I’ve been using the new iPhone for 1-2 weeks.

Now, I’ve synced all the photos from my old iPhone to iCloud.

Here’s my question: How can I ensure all my photos (synced from the old iPhone) remain in iCloud and still be accessible on my new iPhone if I reset my old iPhone to factory settings?

I’ve searched through the community, but I haven’t found a solution, including the following suggestion:

“Use the following procedure on your old iPhone to erase it. This procedure will not remove any of your photos from iCloud. What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support”

Getting Photos on iCloud to a New iPhone:

If you reset this to Factory Settings, then they are not on your iPhone until you download them to it. So, upload these to iCloud, and then download them from it.

So,...

Enable Photos On Both iPhones:

Enable the Photos app in iCloud on each iPhone. Once enabled, all should be accessible in the Photos app between the two --you just need to download then from the Photos app..

Go to: Settings
Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
Tap: iCloud
Tap: Photos
Enable: iCloud Photos
