Recover Lost Voice Memo Files from iCloud Backup

My Voice Memos app started crashing & not working so I took the following steps:

-Backed up my phone on iCloud (made sure the Voice Memos app was toggled on)

-Delete the Voice Memos app & reinstalled it (this lost all my files)

-Reset my phone back to the backup that had all my previous files

Here is where the issue began. Even though all other apps reset to their previous data, none of my files from Voice Notes transferred over. I went to my iCloud account and could not find anything related to the Voice Memos app. Is there a way I can restore my phone to a previous previous backup? Those audio files I lost are very important to my work

Step 1 toggled on where? In iCloud? That syncs the data through iCloud to your other devices. It is not a backup. If you then deleted the data, you deleted it from iCloud too.

if instead you backed up your device, factory reset your device and restore using your backup. You’ll lose anything new since the backup was made but you might get your memos back if those were not synced to iCloud.
