Why am I getting emails about iCloud storage being full when it's not?

I am getting lots of emails that my ICloud account is full and my account will be shutdown if I don’t act. What am I supposed to do. I have only used 22.3 of 50GB. Why am I getting these emails? Thanks!

The emails are from scammers trying to get you to give them either your credit card information or your Apple Account credentials. Delete them.
