Airpod Pros not charging anymore

I am having problems with the charging of my airpods pro’s and case. The airpods usually do not charge in the case and the case usually does not charge even though it is plugged into the charger in an on socket. Last week I went to the apple store for this and after doing some tests, the employee returned with a new pair of airpods because mine had “failed” I went home happy thinking this had worked out but the problem still persists. I am sure this is a problem with the case as my AirPods charge in other cases. What should i do? Should I book another genius Bar appointment?
