I powered off my iPad (7th generation) and now it won’t power back on

I powered off my iPad (7th generation) and it wouldn’t power on, I thought it was the battery so I plugged it to charge and it wouldn’t work. So I tried a different outlet and different box and cable and still wouldn’t turn on. And I did that once more, I held the power button down for a while each time I tried and still nothing. My iPad never had problems with the battery. I tried holding the power button and home button at the same time for a while and it still wouldn’t turn on.
