AirPod fitting issue after radical mastoidectomy surgery

Because of surgeries on my right ear canal years ago, I can't get airpods (or any type of earbuds) to fit. No matter what tips I use or tweaks I try, they fall right out. My clumsy solution is to wear a headband, lopsided, which sort of works but I obviously don't get the full benefit.

I have consulted with my ENTs, a hearing aid specialist and have done endless Googling - nothing!

Ideally would be a way to have some sort of clamp to hold it in - although I can't for the life of me think of anything else. I would be so grateful to hear from someone who's had a similar procedure / issue - the OP was a radical mastoidectomy where ear canal externally and internally were altered.

I'm sorry for the issues you are facing. You've probably considered then rejected The AirPods Max? They fit over the ears. Those would definitely provide a good fit.

Have you considered AirPod Ear Hooks available from third party sellers? I've heard from folks who have had good results with them.

Hopefully people with similar experiences, as yours will reply but I thought I'd throw those two ideas out there.
